does everyone remember the days she was considered a fashion icon? then she got all schidzo on us and started dressing like a hobo, but not in a good way. but from the looks of this it seems like she is getting back on track. i absolutely love this outfit -  mischa wears an on-trend pleated yellow skirt with some faaaaab yellow charlotte olypmia pumps. but what really caught my eye was her colorful bug shirt; i am all about quirky dressing which doesn’t cross over into lady gaga territory. her insect print shirt is a piece from matthew williamson’s cheaper diffusion line which is due to debut in the near future.

this whole trend of animals on clothes started with mui mui’s 2009 collections (sparrows, kittens). insects were first featured in lanvin’s s/s 2011 collection in the form of gorgeous hardware brooches. since then, they have been steadily appearing on fashion items everywhere. take a look at some fun ways to be part of this trend (click on the captions if you’re interested in purchasing):
