Dramatic music set the stage for an evening of glamour and transported audiences into the realm of fantasy. Moving away from the conventional fashion show, the bulk of the “Goddess” collection was sandwiched by the opening and the closing showstoppers. A Dubai Fashion Week regular, Sobia Nazir emphasizes on a variety of cuts and heavy embellishments in her designs.
Green, the color of the season, dominated the ramp, often sprinkled with sequins and gems. The designs followed a symmetrical path with lines of sequins running through dresses in solid bold colors.
